Our 2021 season is set to commence on Saturday May 8th at 8.30 am for warm ups! However, this year we are having a special Sign On Fun Day at 2 pm on Saturday 24th April down at the club grounds. An exciting afternoon is planned to give the children a chance to see what it would be like to be a part of our Club. Come on down and see for yourself what a great sport Little Athletics is for all involved. We are looking forward to a great season of Family, Fun & Fitness! Let's make 2021 a year to remember for our Club.
Our days are still run during rainy weather (this is to condition the athletes for competition at Regional and State level where cancellation is not possible). If the weather is considered too dangerous to hold our events you will be notified by radio on local station 4BU and on our Facebook page.

Official Accreditation Scheme
Our club offers the ability to obtain accreditation for LAQ grading. Applicants need to complete practical assessments and theory exams for each discipline. The theory papers are set in event groups; Jumps, Throws, Track, Walks and Recording. A typical theory paper includes a general section and specific events. Members are encouraged to underake the whole event group. "D" grade Official Practical Assessment and Theory exams are carried out by either the Centre Manager or the Centre Officials Officer.
The theory exam is an open book situation, with reference made to LAQ Officials, Competition Handbooks and IAAF Handbook.
Our club is covered under V-Insurance Group. It is still an authorised representative of Willis so the Willis name will still appear on some documentation/websites. Part of each Registration cost goes to ensure insurance coverage for the athletes and the club. Further information can be found on the LAQ website.
